Missfit Creations is the brand owned by Debbie Murphy, a designer and up-cycler of fashion who was way ahead of the curve with this type of offering. I’ve worked with Debbie for many years and we’ve had quite a few creative projects under our belts. We’ve seen some history and some changes. When she’s not on TV you’ll find her mending and creating.
Shown is a small selection of the pieces I’ve been able to shape for her with concept and creative and also the design work that implemented the style that she promotes her work with. Her brand was designed about 16 years ago now but really still gets some great feedback from her audience. Just so you know the reason behind the safety pin for her logo… she loves all things punk and was heavily influenced by her own musical adventures and youth, she loves Malcom McLaren and most things Vivienne Westwood hence the styling of the safety pin which I believe worked as a bridge from punk to the fashion and dress making/repairs she now works in. She’s an interesting lady so look her up.
