I was commissioned to look at the brand styling and identity for Broadcast Shoes which was a sub-brand of ikon shoes in the U.K.
Shown here are concepts for the overall identity that was developed and chosen, as well as packaging and promotional materials. I generated the copyline 'Receive the style. Loud and clear' as the brief specified that the shoes would be promoted in conjunction with live music events, with the target audience being males between the ages of 15 – 35.
Although lots of different ideas took shape the sound waves emanating from the name felt right. This combined with the modern sans style typefaces and the usage of silver and purple helped to create a vibrant but stylish identity. Considering it's from 2007 it still looks relevant for something that's 8 years old.
